Inspired by G.I. Joe, a real American hero, this design is about Gideon, one of my favorite Bible heroes, becoming a valiant warrior.

Growing up in the ’80s, G.I. Joe was essential TV. The Joes were true American heroes, and the life lessons from their “Now you know” segments have stayed with me ever since.

Similarly, Gideon from the Bible is one of my all-time favorite heroes. I’ve always connected with his desire to be absolutely certain he was hearing from God. Even after being called a “valiant warrior” by God, his journey was far from easy.

This design is a tribute to two of my favorite warrior heroes: the steadfast courage of Gideon and the iconic spirit of the G.I. Joes.
